CO 490: Legal and Ethical Issues in Mass Communication, Pine Manor College (4 credits)
Current issues and research in mass communication are studied through critical readings and class discussions. Emphasis is on critical analyses of case studies of legal and ethical issues in mass media, as well as the media in social, political and economic contexts. Students draw upon knowledge gained in this and previous Communication courses to conduct presentations of case studies. Prerequisite: Junior or senior status.
