CO 330: Writing and Marketing Scripts and Screenplays (4 credits)
This is an upper-level course for students who wish to pursue internships and careers in TV and film. Students will learn how to translate their ideas for narrative and documentary film and video productions into marketable scripts and screenplays, as well as commercial, promotional, and public service spots. This course is highly recommended for Communication majors who want to pursue a creative- or documentary-style video for their senior project and for other majors interested in learning more about writing for radio, film, television, and cable. Prerequisites: CO 120 and CO 340 or permission. Can be taken concurrently with CO 340.
